Google's next-generation Pixel 10 is shaping up to be a major camera upgrade, with sources revealing details about the new Night Sight 3.0 system that uses advanced AI to produce unprecedented low-light photography results.

Night Sight 3.0

The new Night Sight 3.0 uses a completely redesigned AI pipeline that can process images in near real-time, eliminating the long processing wait times of previous versions. Google has reportedly trained new models on millions of low-light images to dramatically improve noise reduction and detail preservation.

Early samples shared by insiders show remarkable improvements in color accuracy and detail retention in extremely dark environments, with the Pixel 10 producing usable images in conditions where even the human eye struggles to see.

New Camera Hardware

The Pixel 10 is expected to feature a new 64MP main sensor with a larger pixel size for improved light gathering. The ultrawide camera is also getting an upgrade to a 50MP sensor with autofocus capabilities.
