New renders from a reliable source have revealed the design of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, showing significant changes from the current S25 Ultra. The most notable change is the dramatically slimmer bezels, achieved through a new under-display camera technology.

Design Changes

The leaked renders show a device with near-zero bezels on all four sides, giving the S26 Ultra an incredibly modern and immersive look. The titanium frame has been redesigned with smoother curves while maintaining the flat sides that Samsung introduced with the S24 Ultra.

The camera module on the rear has undergone a complete redesign. Instead of the individual camera cutouts, Samsung appears to be moving to a horizontal camera bar that spans the width of the device, similar to what we've seen on some concept designs.

Expected Specifications

While the leaked renders focus on the external design, industry insiders have hinted at several key specifications. The S26 Ultra is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 2nm process, promising significant improvements in both performance and power efficiency.

The camera system is rumored to receive a major upgrade, with a new 250MP main sensor and improved AI processing capabilities. Samsung is also reportedly working on a new variable aperture system for even better low-light performance.

Release Timeline

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S26 Ultra in January 2027, following the company's traditional launch schedule. However, some reports suggest Samsung may push the announcement to December 2026 to get ahead of the competition.
