Xiaomi has officially confirmed that its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17, will launch in India next month. The device will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and feature Leica-tuned cameras.

The Xiaomi 17 will be available in India starting August 15, 2026, with prices expected to start around ₹54,999 for the base 12GB/256GB variant. Xiaomi will offer the device through its official website, Mi stores, and Amazon India.

The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.55-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and 512GB of UFS 5.0 storage.

The camera system includes a 50MP Leica-tuned main sensor with variable aperture, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The battery is rated at 5500mAh with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
